Adviza is one of the partners providing careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) to young people aged 16-24 in Swindon and Wiltshire who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) or are at risk of becoming NEET.

The project aims to raise aspirations and help the young people broadly explore career pathways in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) which are local economic growth sectors.

After regular interventions from the careers adviser, it is hoped that the NEET or ‘at risk of NEET’ young person would either stay on more securely in their educational establishment or move into employment or a traineeship/apprenticeship.

One Swindon teacher recently said about the project: “I used to have sleepless nights about my at risk of NEET students until Adviza came in.”

The project is funded by the European Social Fund and managed by Careers South West.
